Congratulations to Anthony (Tony) Wisdom and Perry Somers newely elected president and vice-president respectively of by the Eaglemont Homeowner's Operating Committee, during the HOC meeting held December 1, 2009.

The Eaglemont Homeowners Operating Committee (HOC) is always looking for new members with good ideas to help make the Eaglemont Golf Community a better place to live.  Homeowners are always welcome to sit in and ask questions during our monthly meetings.  Meeting dates vary.  Look for our sign as you enter Eaglemont on Waugh or for dates published in the newsletter or in www.Eaglemont News.com.

The HOC is a volunteer group of homeowners who came together some years ago for the purpose of representing the residents of the Eaglemont Community by facilitating communication between the homeowners and the Eaglemont Homeowners Association (HOA), and to make recommendations that would be beneficial to the homeowners, HOA management and to Sea-Van Investments Association (Declarant).  And unlike the HOA, the HOC board members do not represent the homeowners, under the law.  However, when issues arise that need the input and consent of the homeowners e.g. the new mailboxes, the HOC works with the HOA to get the word out and will distribute ballots when homeowner approval is needed.

Here's a list of the HOC committees and chairs.

Architectual Control Committee (ACC) - Tom Grimmer, HOC representative
Beautification Committee - Ray & Carole Larsen
Finance Committee - Skip Pixley
Golf Committee - John Peterson

We hope to see you at our next meeting.
